E-Commerce, Custom Content Management System (CMS)

Hy-Vee, Inc. ranks among the top 15 supermarket chains in the nation with sales of more than $4.6 billion and more than 200 retail stores employing 49,000 people across seven Midwestern states.

Upgrades

Hy-Vee wanted to translate its tremendous success in brick and mortar locations to the on-line realm. The restructured website has a number of options that were not previously available—access to over 4,000 recipes, ecommerce, interactive store locator, e-newsletters and weekly newspaper inserts.

Content Management System (CMS)

Hy-Vee uses our Spinternet content management system to update content, banners, photos, recipes, add store locations and drive the e-commerce.

E-Commerce

Hy-Vee uses our e-commerce solution; to capture, distribute and track orders on behalf of its 200+ stores. Orders made on Hy-Vee.com are available for pickup or delivery; and with an integrated Store Finder, customers can locate a prefered store near them.

Store Finder & Store Pages

Hy-Vee's Store Finder allows visitors to select and save a preferred store for quick access to news, services and the weekly ad.

Mobile Site

The Hy-Vee mobile site includes many of the same features of the main site, including the store finder, store calendars and news, weekly menu and access to My Hy-Vee. Spinutech designed the site for the mobile space and to accommodate mobile content.

Spinutech also built an API specifically for Hy-Vee's native apps. The centralized platform leverages the payment platform and distributes content and site features across devices.

Just like the traditional website, the mobile site and the native app is managed with Spinternet, Spinutech's custom CMS.
