Lost Island Waterpark is a tropical, paradise-themed waterpark with extreme water slides and attractions. It is Iowa's largest waterpark located in Waterloo, Iowa.
Award Winning Web Design!
Waterparks are fun, exciting and tropical-themed! The design of the Lost Island website needed to match the excitement of the waterpark. Spinutech used tropical themed imagery and photos from the park to create a visually rich and fun design. The Lost Island website won a Gold Addy Award in February 2011!
Interactive Park Map
Spinutech took the printed version of the Lost Island park map and created an interactive Flash version. The Flash version allows people to zoom, move around and view details about each attraction.
Content Management System
Lost Island has the ability to update banners, photos, content and events through Spinutech's content management system called Spinternet.
Mobile Website
Spinutech created a mobile website that is scaled-down and optimized for smart phones. Auto-detection was setup to direct mobile devices to the mobile version.
