Digital Account Lead

We are seeking a Digital Account Lead to support our clients in the success and management of their digital marketing needs. This position will be located out of our Des Moines, IA or Elmhurst, IL office. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts on behalf of respective clients
  • Serve as the primary contact for all client requests, including managing external communications, maintaining status sheets and leading client meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinate logistics and lead client kickoffs and discovery sessions
  • Develop strategic recommendations including detailed proposals, tactics, and budget, for potential and respective clients
  • Responsible for the accountability and profitability of respective clients
  • Continually strive for existing account growth through proactive account management
  • Build and maintain meaningful and mutually beneficial client relationships
  • Lead the strategy team in the formulation of digital marketing strategies and oversee the execution of those strategies that are in alignment with the client’s specific business and marketing goals and objectives
  • Manage internal resources to ensure all elements of respective clients digital marketing strategies are completed on time, on budget and in a manner that is satisfactory to the client
  • Assist with the implementation and management of digital marketing campaigns as needed
  • Manage the billing process for designated clients
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Engage in meetings to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement or growth

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of account management experience required, prior agency experience preferred
  • Client-service focused, detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to identify client needs and translate client input into clear direction for the broader core team
  • The ability to form and maintain lasting and meaningful relationships with team members and clients
  • Understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics; certification is not required for hire but a willingness to acquire is mandatory
  • Experience with customer service and account management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
