Paid Social Strategist
Job Description
We’re looking for a mid-level Paid Social Strategist to join our social media team at a digital marketing agency that works with brands across various industries—from healthcare to consumer services to franchise networks. This role is perfect for someone who can own their desk managing multiple brands' paid social campaigns effectively and efficiently, think big picture and dig into the daily data, keep all documentation organized, and proactively bring performance insights to internal and client teams. This candidate will work alongside our Senior Paid Social Strategist and support on the execution and management side of our clients’ paid social campaigns.
Responsibilities
- You’ll manage the day to day execution, documentation, and strategic recommendations for paid social strategy for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business objectives and driving measurable performance. You'll support our Senior Paid Social Strategist for day to day client accounts, responsible for driving paid social performance and partnering with internal teams (account managers, data science, organic social, creative, content) to deliver client business results.
- Build and manage paid social campaigns across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, etc.), making weekly optimizations in partnership with our data science team, plus monthly/quarterly reporting presentations. You’ll own the primary execution of pulling data from social platforms and in-house built dashboards for the Senior Paid Social Strategist to align on our strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with account managers, creatives, and analysts to align messaging, targeting, and performance goals.
- Manage and forecast paid social budgets ranging from mid-level to high-volume spends.
- Lead the setup and execution of campaigns for multi-location and/or franchise brands, including structure, all pixel and required CRM tracking/setup, geotargeting, and budget allocation by region.
- Track and document strategy, metrics, budget pacing, creative iterations, and performance trends.
- Identify platform trends, AI opportunities, audience shifts, and new beta features to evolve client strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing paid social strategy and execution for multiple brands in an agency setting. Proactively execute and document all pieces needed for efficient and detail-oriented work.
- Experience directly led paid social efforts for multi-location or enterprise-scale clients.
- Experience managing multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously, while keeping performance and communication tight between internal and external stakeholders. proactively communicating, documenting communication, and taking pride in work quality that is both internal and client-facing.
- Love data but know that strategy is more than numbers. Can participate in internal and client conversations around their data and results with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.
- Great communicator and enjoy collaborating across departments and love being part of a team that supports one another. You’ll work with organic social strategists, data scientists, media strategists, website developers, creatives, and account managers who value curiosity, transparency, and shared wins.
Experience With The Following Tools
- Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, X Ads, Pinterest Ads
- Google Analytics, UTM tracking, GTM, internal reporting tools like Looker or Ninja Cat
- Proficiency in Google and/or Excel spreadsheets, budget sheets/pacing, testing road mapping, and AI automation across documents and tools.
Preferred But Not Required
Experience with local store or franchise marketing
Experience creating content like social videos, copywriting and graphic design.
Experience working with creators and/or influencers to execute campaigns using their content.
