Senior Paid Social Media Strategist

Job Description

We are seeking a senior level Paid Social Media Strategist with experience in running complex paid social campaigns to help plan, analyze, recommend and execute paid social media strategies to meet our clients’ digital marketing goals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a proactive service to clients, maintaining and growing strong relationships, and supporting the growth of existing clients.

You’re a Great Fit If You

Have 5+ years of experience managing paid social strategy for brands, ideally in an agency setting. Proactively process and document all pieces needed for efficient and detail-oriented work. 

Have directly led paid social efforts for multi-location or enterprise-scale clients.

Have managed multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously, while keeping performance and communication tight between internal and external stakeholders. Proactively communicating, documenting communication, and taking pride in work quality that is both internal and client-facing.

Love data but know that strategy is more than numbers. Can lead client conversations around their data and results with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Are comfortable collaborating across departments and love being part of a team that supports one another.

What You’D Do Here

  • Design, implement and optimize paid social media strategies to achieve marketing goals for a variety of clients across multiple industries 
  • Understanding clients’ budget and business goals as it relates to the bigger picture
  • Client-facing and presenting to key stakeholders
  • Recommend targeting strategies and develop audience lists for future campaigns
  • Develop strong insights and turn data into actionable results. Deliver the story behind the data to key stakeholders
  • Actively work with the data and analytics team to ensure tracking and reporting is accurate
  • Stay abreast of paid social media trends and best practices to bring clients the best strategies and recommendations proactively
  • Proofread and quality check with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of high converting landing pages, upsells, LTV and associated areas to help drive ROAS
  • Build and execute social media advertising funnels

What You Need To Work Here

  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Proficient with Facebook Business Manager, Tik Tok and LinkedIn
  • Technical understanding of social platform reporting tools
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
  • Experience with Commerce Manager and setting up catalogs and product feed setup with 3rd party vendors, such as Feedonomics
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of how to market and communicate to specific client audiences across all mainstream social media channels
  • Experience with running paid campaigns on social channels
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, agency experience is preferred

Who You’D Be Working With

In this role you report to the Associate Director of Social Media On a regular basis, you’d be working directly with our Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 clients and collaborate cross-functionally with team members across the United States.

Where We Are

Everywhere. All of our team members have the option to work remotely, no matter where they live in the United States. However, for this particular opening we are ideally hiring in Tampa, Chicago, Dallas or Des Moines, IA. We do have traditional office locations in Cedar Falls and Des Moines, Iowa; Tampa, Florida and co-working spaces in Chicago and Denver
