Digital Designer

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Design, the Digital Designer will fulfill an important role and be accountable for the following areas of the business:

Design Execution of Digital Marketing Creative Strategy 

The Digital Designer will be responsible for completing design changes to websites and applications based on recommendations from CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) Team. The Digital Designer will also create static and animated graphics/ads for Social and Paid Media campaigns, and design supporting graphics such as icons and infographics. Additionally, this role is accountable for supporting the design of sales presentations (using Google Slides), layout brochures, signage and other print materials as requested. 

Quality of Work Produced 

The ideal Digital Designer will pride themselves on quality; ensuring all design task requirements are gathered, understood and met for each requested deliverable. The Digital Designer will review their own work for quality, and provide recommendations to the internal team and Clients on how to best design and deliver assets.

Completing Scheduled Work on Time & Communication of Task Status

In addition to quality, the Digital Designer must have good time management skills and be able to adhere to deadlines and effectively communicate task status to internal Project and Account Management teams. The Digital Designer is responsible for voicing any blockers or questions needed to be answered in order to complete tasks, and will be asked to provide status updates daily. 

Follow All Design Department Processes & Cross-Delivery Team Collaboration

Success of the Web Services team is rooted in our ability to learn, grow and work as a team. The Digital Designer will contribute to this growth by following established processes for different types of design projects, and collaborating with the Design team as well as different departments on requirements and best practices. The Digital Designer will regularly participate in Design team discussions and meetings, and also assist other Design team members with miscellaneous projects for new or existing Clients.


The Digital Designer will be asked to provide hours estimates for existing Client work that will be reviewed by the Project and Account Management teams. Estimates are reviewed internally, and communicated to the Client, so it is critical that the Digital Designer understand the requested task and deliverables to be provided. 


Education & Experience Requirements:

Preferred candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in the field of graphic design or web design

Proficient in design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, XD, InDesign

Experience in motion graphics such as After Effects or Premiere is a plus

Ability to clearly communicate and present a creative vision tied it to the Client’s goals and objectives

Expert-level collaboration, project- and time-management skills

Strong initiative/self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed, a "Can Do" team attitude is a must 

Minimal travel requirements
