Vice President of Client Engagement

We’re looking for a proven agency leader to step into a high-impact role driving growth across a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an opportunity to shape the future of client partnerships within a performance-driven, digitally-led agency.

You’ll operate as a true senior executive partner to clients and internal leadership, owning client growth, elevating strategic output, and building a best-in-class client engagement function. 

 

Responsibilities & Impact

Client Growth & Strategic Leadership

  • Own growth, retention, and overall health of a multi-million-dollar client portfolio
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing business outcomes
  • Drive measurable impact across performance marketing, digital, and web initiatives
  • Lead integrated, full-funnel strategies aligned to client business goals
  • Anticipate client needs and unlock new opportunities for expansion

Agency Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing client engagement team
  • Build a culture of accountability, strategic thinking, and continuous growth
  • Elevate the quality of client leadership across the organization

Revenue Expansion & New Business

  • Drive organic growth through cross-sell, upsell, and client expansion
  • Play a key role in new business efforts, including pitch strategy and closing
  • Partner with executive leadership to scale revenue and client impact

Operational Excellence

  • Own portfolio performance, including profitability, resourcing, and delivery quality
  • Ensure consistent execution that meets both client expectations and agency standards
  • Improve systems and processes to support scalable growth

Innovation & Future-Forward Thinking

  • Champion modern marketing approaches across data, technology, and AI
  • Introduce new capabilities that elevate client performance and differentiation
  • Act as a change agent, helping evolve both clients and the agency



 

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years leading client services within a digital or integrated agency
  • Proven track record managing and growing multi-million-dollar client portfolios
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel digital marketing and web solutions
  • Experience driving client growth—not just managing accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen with ownership of revenue and profitability
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing teams
  • Forward-thinking mindset, with exposure to AI and emerging technologies
