Since 1937, PSAV has been connecting and inspiring people around the globe with meeting and event experiences. As a $1.8 billion company, PSAV supports more than 1,100 event planners and organizers and serves as the on-site provider of choice for more than 1,500 hotels, resorts, sport venues, and convention centers around the world.
PSAV came to Spinutech in 2017 looking for a newly designed website focused on the customer’s journey. As an event company, PSAV wanted to create a website experience that was as memorable as their in-person event production services. To ease employee frustrations and easily share information related to company updates, a revamp of PSAV’s intranet was also a major goal.
We worked with PSAV to understand their goals and objectives. We started by conducting industry-based design research through interviews with stakeholders, C-level leadership, vendors, and event planners. We developed the framework for the website on our content management system. Implementing an SEO strategy helped create authority in the search rankings and localize more than 1,500 PSAV venue listings on Google My Business.
PSAV’s new website not only reflects the breadth and depth of their organization, but is also much more user-friendly as evidenced by a 3.96% decrease in bounce rates in the first year. In that same time, traffic from organic search increased by 20.81% indicating the efficacy of technical and local SEO tactics.
We have continued to work closely with PSAV over the past three years to continually improve and enhance the website, including creating a custom location finder and inspiration finder.
