Website replatform and redesign positions regional bank for growth
Based in New Jersey and also serving communities in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York, Kearny Bank has been providing personalized banking solutions for more than 140 years.
As they continue to grow across personal and business banking, Kearny needed a website that would better reflect their reputation, improve usability, and support their future growth goals. They partnered with Spinutech to replatform and redesign their website, creating a more intuitive, modern, and scalable digital experience.

The Challenge
Kearny Bank’s previous website was built on a version of Umbraco that was no longer going to be supported. Their team found the CMS difficult to manage, and the site itself lacked the usability and polish needed to compete with other financial institutions in their market.
Beyond the technical limitations, the navigation structure made it difficult for users to find the information they needed. With more customers relying on digital channels for account access, applications, and resources, Kearny needed a website that was not only user-friendly but also capable of supporting more advanced functionality like personalization and SEO optimization.

Our Strategy
Spinutech recommended rebuilding the website on the Sitefinity CMS, providing the Kearny team with a user-friendly platform that makes page creation and content management significantly easier. Training would empower their internal team to manage the site from Day 1.
The redesign prioritized intuitive navigation, organizing content by user intent to help visitors find what they need quickly. The site was also elevated visually, modernizing the brand’s digital presence to match its reputation and credibility in the community.
Key development highlights included:
- Branch locator powered by Google Maps API, with individual branch location pages to strengthen local SEO.
- ATM locator integration through MoneyPass API.
- Dynamic rate tables with easy CMS management and compliance-friendly disclaimers.
- Sitefinity Insight integration to enable personalization based on user behavior, laying the foundation for cross-selling opportunities.
- SEO optimization, including structured data, URL strategy, and sitemap improvements.
The Spinutech team also supported Kearny Bank with extensive content population — migrating and setting up more than 300 pages — and collaborated closely with stakeholders throughout the process to ensure a smooth, on-time launch.

The Results
Since the launch of the new Kearny Bank website, early performance metrics have already shown strong results:

- Organic event rate increased 184% month-over-month
- Impressions are up 194% year-over-year
- Non-branded impressions are up 170% year-over-year
